Surgery day feels like yesterday. We had it planned out, the surgeons picked, the date set, the time known. She was calm, but with exciting anticipation of the possibility of life without pain. I'm awake hours before the alarm goes off in excited anticipation. I always love these days, our days. The red glow of the clock reads one am, ugggg hours to go yet.  I'm not tired at all,  but I need to sleep. My thoughts go to you and I feel that tingle already. Wow it's Thursday.  I can't believe I'm still getting all giddy.  Nervous, excited, and oh so happy, these days are too few and far between.  Two-thirty am and I can't take it any longer so I climb out of bed to make myself a glass of juice. Not the least bit sleepy I mill around the dark house a little, then head back to bed.  I finally drift off to sleep but not for long I'm so ex

Wow

thanks for noticing. It's been an extremely busy summer. Between work and my boys I haven't stopped yet. I love it, you only get a limited amount of time with them while they are young so I'm enjoying now... Next summer the oldest will be driving himself so he won't want to spend as much time with mom, which I realize is the goal but the thought of it getting so close breaks my heart just a little. Hope you are having a wonderful summer. I'll be around more when school starts
